ruger super blackhawk opinion

has anyone ever seen one of ruger's new model blackhawks in 44 special? i imagine that is quite rare north of the border
NorthPro sports in saskatoon had one for awhile for a sweet price (around $550 I think) I wish I would have added it my collection of ruger pistols to keep my SBH company.

.44Spl brass is almost as rare as hens' teeth. And since both .44Spl and .44Mag are so expensive for factory ammo this is a caliber that will force you into reloading just to allow you to shoot any reasonable amount without taking out a second mortgage. And if you're reloading your own anyway it's better to buy a .44Mag gun and just download to .44Spl power loads in .44Mag brass.

had a s/w 44 years back, i think i still have 100 brass around and 500 leads (i found). speer soft 240 gr lead
