I'm considering replacing the hammers on my Vaquero's with hammers from a Super Blackhawk but I'm not sure where to get them from. Brownells has the original Blackhawk hammers, but the profile shape isn't the same as the lower Super Blackhawk hammers.

Is there a source for parts in Canada? Or do I have to contact Ruger directly?

Thanks for the help.

I ordered this one a while back. This is the low, wider spur hammer. Similar to the ones on the SASS series.

That's exactly what I'm looking for right there! Thanks Trinimon :)

Maybe I and my freakishly short thumbs can actually #### a hammer single handed without looking like a spaz.

Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan of the stock hammer. I'm tempted to swap the hammer on my Uberti to a similar low spur style as well.

I'm not sure about the getting them shipped across the border, but Ruger will sell direct to customers. Call their parts hotline and tell the guy what you are looking for.
