wasnt sure which forum ... but both are revolver and rimfire haha.

'officially' ruger says dont... but we know a lot of that is just legalese bs. with a properly chambered 22wmr cylinder (not a bored out 22lr cylinder) figure it might be ok?

frame looks similar-ish

Adjustable sights and a 22wmr cylinder?

#### I wish they had this out before the handgun freeze, I'd have bought this over the regular Wrangler I got for sure!

If the 22wmr cylinder fits, and it is available on its own I would totally buy one to try regardless of what Ruger says. The Cylinder takes the majority of the pressure so the only concern I can think of would be bore diameter (22lr is 223cal vs 22wmr is 224cal) but 1 thousandth isn't enough to stop me from trying it.

There are lots of cool .22 WMR pistols and revolvers out there now. Despite the more expensive ammo I love it. Much more satisfying than LR. Maybe one day we will get a chance again.

I just checked out Ruger's website, and noticed this:

If they are not interchangeable I wonder if they did something to make it impossible to do, or if they're just saying don't do it for legal reasons?

I have a Colt Trooper revolver in 22 WMR, much more fun to shoot than the 22LR. It's the revolver on the far right.

at the time, in the rush, the more expensive version with 2 cylinders wasnt in the cards. i wanted a wheel gun and a 22lr to let kiddo shoot it... had to compromise.
