I inherited a few guns recently. Here are two of them. I know the pics aren't great as it started to rain as I was doing them. I'll get more/better pics when I list them on the EE. What's the ballpark price for these? Mdl 94 serial number 292 is 1966 or so I think . Some rust marks. Knowing the owner I think they were hunted more than shot. They go bang but have not tested accuracy

the 94 750 -900
the ruger looks like a model 77 RL if the condition 70-80% 900-1200 if the photo of the bbl with the smudged bluing belongs to the ruger then 850-950

850-900 each.

Being a .32 Sp. doesn't do anything to improve value for the M94, it just makes it hard to find ammo for.

The M77 is nice, but tang safety Rugers don't seem to have a lot of collector value.

Crazy as it sounds the caliber of the 94 is detrimental to the value due to ammo cost and availability.
Still a nice looking piece that should fetch $850 without too long if a wait for a buyer.

Thr Ruger in 270 likely shoots like a laser beam and should bring another $750- $850 your way.
The muzzle wear takes away some value for sure.

Those of us that have 32 specials love them, but we have to hand load because ammo is impossible to find, and when you do find some, it's stupid expensive. The year is also an issue for value. 1966 wasn't a super year for Winchester - after 64/65 there were some production changes that weren't for the better. I'd expect to get $700-$800, higher if you have some ammo or reloading stuff to include.

The Ruger is very nice except for the barrel up by the muzzle, and it's in a perfect chambering for a deer/moose hunter. If it was me, I'd clean the rust up with 0000 steel wool and gun oil, then hand buff it with an oily flannel rag, just to make sure there's no pitting or anything serious. I'd ask $1100 shipped, and expect to get $950 for it.

Good luck with your sales.

Actually I just looked again and the M94 is 1965.

That it's a .32 Spec I almost want to keep it just because it's interesting but I really dont have any use for these rifles. I imagine you can just use necked up 30-30 brass for 32?

I'm sure they will find a good home.

It's always fun to 'inherit' guns ain't it?

Been the recipient of a few gems over the years. (y)

Personally, I wouldn't have much use for a vintage '94 unless it was in .30WCF. But I've had great luck with tang safety M77's over the years.

Good luck with yours, though. ;)

NAA.

That tang Ruger is very nice. $900-1000 in that condition. I had Mitch Kendall clean mine up for me. Mines reliable and accurate and it's in another great deer calibre, 7x57. She's staying put in my battery. Tang Rugers have a loyal following and there's always someone "in the know" that wants one.

You can always find someone that wants a decent M94, and $800-1000 is certainly possible. Yeah, 32 Spec isn't that attractive to many, but if you have the brass and reload, it works.

The 94 being a 32WS wouldn’t scare me. I’ve owned and hunted with one, still own it and shoot it occasionally. For sure, factory ammo is a difficult one to find. Reloading and cast bullets make for relatively cheap shooting, but only if you are set up. I am, and reload for everything I own.
