Buddy of mine had a paul break in his Vaquaro and we cant get anybody to ship to Canada. He has contacted the Ruger canadian service company but no reply in 2 weeks so we are wondering if anybody knows of a deceased Vaquaro owner that the family cant transfer the gun anymore and may be parting it out...we could sure use the part!!

Ruger lists Gravel, Big Rock, and Korth. If it were me, I'd prefer to deal with Korth, in this case, and Korth would be my first choice. Ruger will pay the Canadian warranty station to fix it. Your buddy will have to get an ATT and then ship the revolver to the Canadian warranty station. The Canadian warranty station might have a existing backlog, and they might not have the required part in stock, so your buddy is going to have to be very, very, patient, but it'll be repaired sooner or later, and Ruger will pay the Canadian warranty station to fix it.

As mentioned, Numrich is a good source for Ruger parts. Have ordered various parts....including pawls... from the company on several occasions. No problem with shipping to Canada.

update...Buddy contacted Numerich to verify order and is now told "Item is out of stock and no restock is expected" so back to waiting for he Canadian Ruger rep to respond....I might just end up building a new one from scratch I think.
