A gun store in my area has 3 Rugers for sale, on consignment I think. Anyways they are all SAA in .357, .44 mag. and .45 Long Colt. The .45 is more to my liking. He wants $550 for each. All are in pristine condition. The .357 has had 2 boxes shot out of it (he says). The Vaquero of course is the .45. What do you guys think of the prices.

For used guns those are top prices so they should be in very good - excellent condition. If they are all built on the older larger frame, for sure the .44 is, and if that frame size is an important consideration for you, that makes the price somewhat more attractive as the large frame Vaquero is no longer available, nor is a .44 magnum version. The new Vaquero in .45 can't be hotrodded like the older, larger gun can.
