I field stripped for cleaning and when it was put back together it will not fire but I can with some manipulation get it back apart but I can not figure out what's wrong.it looks fine internally meaning nothing looks out of place .please help!
These pistols are a bit of a puzzle to get back together, especially the first few times. Take it apart, grab your owner's manual and try again. Or look at some youtube videos on the subject. It's easy to screw up the reassembly, but at least you can get it apart. Try it again, I'm sure you'll be able to get it.
…they are the rubik's cube of HG's (field stripping/assembly). But once you get the hang of it they are worth the initial frustration.
Take it apart again and check YouTube. Tons of info there.
fyi….my teenage son consistently solves the rubik's cub in under 60secs…I think he cheats.
Could be main spring is stuck . this video helped me . always make sure to pull and hold trigger when inserting mainspring housing .
I have had my 22/45 for 3 month's . Buggers to take apart but get easier as the gun breaks in . Also buy the SAMLAM bushing for your 22/45 then you can make takedown a lot easier , and it will give you a bit better trigger .
Ok got it figured out hammer spur was not situated properly.I got it into the proper position and all is well ,hammer falling as it should slide no longer sticky .properly operating firearm .
