Some of the "Ruko" branded scopes were made by Tasco. Ruko was a sporting goods importer who seemed to do most of their business late 80's-mid 90's. They even had their own line of knives. Armscor rifles and shotguns were also imported by Ruko.Not sure if the Tasco thing applies to your scope, but may be worth checking into....
