RUKO scopes?

my dad has what appears to be a fairly nice ruko 4x40 scope on his old 303. I cant find any info on them anywhere. What sort of quality were they? how long have they been out of buisness?

Ruko imported an extensive variety of goods. I think they are still in business, but no longer deal in firearms and related items. Some of the scopes were made by Hakko, and are quite decent.

I once bought a fixed 4 for one of my .22 It's been an awesome little scope. Super clear for under $100. About 10 years back I wanted another, nowhere to be found!

Years ago, my sister-in-law bought my brother a lefty M700 topped with a 3-9 Ruko for Christmas. The scope is still good to this day.

Got a 3-9x40 on my 7mm-08, works well and has pretty decent optics. IIRC they were made by Hakko in Japan.
