At the match in Nanaimo last weekend there was talk about classic division now allowing full length dust covers with or without accessory rail. After a bit of googling I can't find where this is the case. The most recent rules I have found (January 2017) states; "Handguns must be based on and visibly resemble the profile and contours of the classic 1911-genre design. This means a single-stack, one piece metal frame, slide with stirrup cuts, and a dust cover (with or without an accessory rail) which has a maximum length of 75 mm when measured from the leading edge of the dust cover to the rear of the slide stop pin."

Is there a more recent rulebook I am not aware of? Thanks all.

Classic division just changed the rules to allow the accessory rail last year. That might be where there is confusion as to a rules change for allowing a full dust cover...

Rails were permitted as of January 1, 2015 after receiving approval at the October 2014 Florida General Assembly. Time flies!
