Rules for Firearms ownership in Quebec

First of all, merry christmas to you all.

I was hoping to get some clarification on what is required to keep a non-restricted firearm in quebec as from what i've been told they have enacted some new policies following the Ecole Polytechnique thing. I now spend my time 50% in toronto and 50% in montreal and I would like to keep my firearms with me.

Can someone clarify the current requirements for quebec please? This would be for a PAL/RPAL licensed person whose original pal/RPAL was issued in Ontario.

The laws are only different in Quebec for restricted firearms. That is where loi 9 comes into play. This was after Dawson, not Polytechnique.
