I heard a rumor from a friend that the ACR is being produced again. Is this true?
Anyone know anything about this? Is anyone going to bring it to Canada?

It'll be back one day. Franklin Armory and Bushmaster have both posted on social media about bringing it back, and that's officially it so far.

Beyond that there's speculation from Franklin that they might be able to show something in a year or so.

Latest I saw was for $3800 and was sitting last I checked for 2 weeks. The media posts killed the rarity market for holders, which I think is a good thing. Nothing makes an ACR worth more than MSRP, aside from aftermarket parts and their values of course.

Yeah, that guys asking is absurd.

I bet they hit the market up around 3k, whether that drops the 3500+ used value will depend on how good they are.

is it a sure thing that they will be allowed up here because there is already the current ACR here?

and who knows, the current one could go prohib too.

$5000
I think they selling what the got knowing new stock is on the way!

Incorrect assumption. There is no new stock on the way.

We love ACRs and sold the best NR ACRs in Canada, in volume, at the best prices, since 2015 until BM stopped selling them.

We have been asked repeatedly for more NR ACRs. We had four of our non-restricted chrome lined ACR barrels remaining, of the hundreds we originally had produced, and will never be produced again. We bought four good rifles at current market prices and converted them to NR. They were finished this week and now are up for sale. Three left as of today.

If you can produce or find an ACR with an accurate, chrome lined CDN NR, PROPER ACR Govt Profile barrel (not an over gassed AR15 barrel) for less than we are asking today, I suggest you jump on it. We can't do it for less.

Thanks for the attention!

So even if they come back in to production, you wouldnt be willing to bring them to canada?

5000 is out of my process point right now. I clearly need to do some saving. haha

New ACR's in Canada is still a long ways out once production does actually start. Messages from Franklin speculate +1 year before we'll see anything tangible and 2-3 years more before they'd be churned out for sale. Add the Canadian delay and I figure if anyone gets one up here in 5 years from now, we'd be lucky.

Gives you time to scrape some dollars together ;)

This. I would say it's optimistic to expect to see any new production in under 3 years, and that's assuming that they can continue to be sold in Canada under the same existing frt number. If they need a new submission add another couple years with a possibility of never getting a favorable answer.

Yes these premiums suck, but the reality is a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, chances are you won't get a chance to even buy the new one because they will be banned by then, and even if you did the return of the pseudo long-gun registry this supposed to start this fall.

If you want to guarantee one, especially off the books, you pay the premium and be happy that you had the opportunity and the means.

The whole problem with the platform is there is no spare parts. You break something you have a glorified paper weight. Plus with the frts changing daily, you are play Russian roulette with the OIC. Look at the KD200.
