Russian .22lr Single Shot Target Rifle

I need some help!!
A friend has a Russian .22lr single shot target rifle. He has had it for about 30 years and wants to be rid of it. As a good friend I said OK but it must be worth something and I can't just take it for free. Any ideas about what it could be and a possible value?

if its something like a TOZ-12 then it will be very accurate and have a far better trigger than anything you can buy these days.

I've seen toz 8 and 12 in the 300 dollar range. I've bought both for about 150$ Price depends. Some folks just want to get rid of thier stuff. A friend of mine bought a cooey model 82 ww2 trainer for 15 bucks in a garage sale. That gun can shoot and would go for about 300 here.

Thanks, this is an excellent suggestion. I did a little research online and talked to the helpful lady at CFC and found out it is a TOZ- 16. It seems to be a Russian equivalent of a Cooey model 39, perhaps a little better built than the Sears Sureshot I got for Christmas when I was 12.
