Russian captured German K98's at Wanstalls

$500, saw them today at Wanstalls. Thought someone might be interested. Quality ranges from good to poor. They got a big crate of them sitting in the store so you can get picky for a decent one.

$500? hey that's great.. their website lists them at $599, could use the extra $99 to buy ammo.. guess i'll have to do another road trip to the coast..

They look beat to me, just a quick look at em, maybe there's a gem buried in there..

Kinda sad they are stacked up in a pile like a bunch of firewood

Prices seem to be dropping.....

Now if only I can find some surplus 8mm Mauser ammo without having to go through Lever Arms!! (I don't want a full ammo crate - 900 rnds - but I may not have a choice - oh well).

Looked over a few and was a little disappointed. The way they are stacked in the crate only means the more people looking through them, the more they get bumped around...
