Russian SKS Barrel Question

I just purchased a 1950 Russian SKS that has been refurbished ( Confirmed by the markings/stamp ). [/]

My question(s):

- How do I know if the barrel was upgraded to chrome lined?
- Is their a marking I can look for to see if the barrel was replaced?

I did visually look, but cant really tell anything.
I know they replaced the barrels when refurbishing but only if they required it, so just curious.

I can see a silver ring on the muzzle crown.
I assume this an indication of a chrome bore.

I have a 1950 too but no chrome barrel

I also have Norinco which has a chrome barrel. thee difference is marked chrome blinds you with a bright light and a clean barrel. You would notice the difference
