Russian sxs help

The OP has a wonderful learning opportunity.
Why in any reason would he toss someone else's shotgun, when he already agreed to do what he could.
I have no right to spend (or save) other's time or money.

And once you do have success with taking it all apart, and you will, put all the smaller bits in your tumbler that you use for polishing your brass when reloading. And turn it on for a few hours or 10 - you will be amazed at how it tidies up all those rusty bits.

Thanks for all the advice everyone.
Obviously I am an amateur but this gun is being a #####.

Finally got the trigger group punched out. Was rusted solid to the action.

Now for the final step. Getting the action to move and hopefully open.
Once again nothing wants to move. The lever will wiggle a bit and the linkage moves ever so slightly but nothing wants to move.
Back to soaking in penatrating oil and working the lever back and forth.
One day at a time lol

If the screw in the top lever will come out, the spindle should be able to be pushed out the bottom.
That may give you more access to the locking slide (Bolt)

So a bath in the sonic cleaner with hot solvent did the trick on removing the last screw and revealing a broken part.

Hopefully someone can offer a last pearl of wisdom on how to open the action as it still will not cooperate.
