Russian tokarev - any experts out there?

I have a question for you I will be inheriting an old handgun a Russian tokarev (one of my Grandfathers war tropyh's). I have fired the gun and noticed that it doesnt always recock properly. A new bullet cycles into the chamber but the hammer does not go back completely. Does this sound like an issue with the hammer spring?

Might be a worn sear spring, sear or hammer

What's nice about the toks is that the entire. Sear and hammer assembly lifts straight out of the gun. Its an easy fix
