I picked up a SXS shotgun today that is certainly in need of some love, its a American Arms Co. 12Ga shot gun that has "Genuine Damascus" barrels IE they aren't and just have the finish on them. Only thing is, it has a fair amount of surface rust and I'm wondering if there is any way to save the finish on it while removing the rust. Everything else about it is nice, no cracks in the stock and it locks up reasonably tight so the finish is all I'm really worried about.
