I have always been interested in the rifle by have never picked one up. I used to own a Webley Patriot in .25 cal and it was good.

I think if I owned this rifle it would be mostly for plinking and maybe the occational bird or two :)

Any recommendations? Any owners out there?

Go with .22 , I have a 48 in .177 and it punches through birds. Sometimes they go pop and sometimes they don't know that they are dead. I think the .22 would give the extra energy and less penetration. I have bought the heavy .177 to help mine out but they need to be special ordered.

Not a 350 in .177 as I had one.Only pellets that would hit were it was aimed was Kodiaks and Crosman 10.5gr heavies!Very hold sensitive as well although I did manage to wack a few grouse that dropped like they were tasered...................One in .25 would be nice if they made one.......Harold**** a BAM 28 Chinese copy for 1/2 the price has had great reviews in .22

Just got one in .22

I have a Patriot in .177 and I feel that it should do everything I need an airgun to do especially when you can get heavy pellets. Having said that I just got a used 350 in .22 this afternoon. The price was right and I have wanted to get another magnum .22 for a while. The 350 should have the power to really throw a .22 pellet and I'd bet it's accurate. I had a Diana 34 years ago in .22 and it was very accurate.

If you have not bought yet you may want to consider the Model 48 in .22. The fixed barrel adds a nice accuracy component. The side lever takes a "little" getting used to. But if used as hunting the .22 does offer good hitting power.

got one shoots awesome, match barrel , if you get it , also get the rws cleaning stuff. $35 for the package.
Please note , the older 350 with 350 magnum on the stock are a better gun as far as looks go.
With raptors your getting way over Mach , and boy it hits hard.
Hope this helps, oh a BKL one piece 4 bolt or 6 bolt mount are strong, and will hold the scope in place, Gamo also sells a scope stop, for 6 bucks.
Scopes , you can go with heavy leapers, or put a 6x20 grand slam on your gun, super optics for a heavy recoil springer.
The 460 magnum is pretty sweet , 1/2 of plywood at 30 meters, whistles through. And accuracy is awesome, put a peep with scope stop on the back side to hold it secure.

Hey Levi: I have seen this package: (also get the rws cleaning stuff) you feel its a good deal?

Leaper's makes a one piece mt with stop for $20 from D+L one designed for the 48-52 and the other for the breakbarrel series 34-350 etc.......Harold

Finally tried out the 350

The one I got came with a spring kit already installed so I can't comment on what a factory gun feels like but the one I have is super nice to shoot. Definately a whole lot of movemenet but no twang. Accuracy seems good but I'm only shooting at 10m and I'm out of practice.

One thing, if I were to buy one new I'd get the carbine version. The standard model is loooong. The new Diana catalog lists a carbine version with a 15.5" barrel whereas the standard comes with a 19.5" barrel.

The 350 Mag is a very well made hunting piece in .22 calibre. I wouldn't necessarily think of it as the most suitable plinking gun, but as regards hunting, it is near the top of the springer heap. I would avoid using a ballistic alloy pellet, such as the Raptors. My experience is that accuracy suffers, as do (potentially) the internals of the gun.
