Anybody know if there is a source for 9.3x74r brass in Canada? Is it so much better than Norma brass to the point where I should go to the ends of the earth to look for it?

Thanks

I never even thought to try Europe. I assume there are no issues having it shipped over? Darn Google translator doesn't work on their website!

Here's a new quandry. I have found a source for loaded RWS ammo, at $58 per box of 20. New Norma brass is $177 for 100 pieces.

Am I better off with 60 RWS brass or 100 Norma Brass for the same price (plus some benefit of shooting off the RWS stuff)?

Thanks

Old thread... but...

I have 6-8 relatively hot loadings on my Norma brass and it is still going strong... I have not tried RWS, but I am completely satisfied with Norma.

few years ago i always preferred Norma to Rws will it be for 9,3x62 or 7x64 ... i dont know the actual quality of RWS but in those days Norma was always above just my two cents.

Hornady, Nosler, Norma, RWS. I got my last RWS stuff from Ralf Martini in BC (8x68). - dan

Long, long time ago in the 80' previous century I build 9,3x64 mauser rifle and my RWS brass was so soft that I couldn't even reach factory velocities with it and no wonder, years later when I sold the rifle one of "Handloader" articles confirmed my suspicion.
IMHO PO should aim for Norma brass instead.
