http://web.mac.com/photomark/iWeb/Airgun Adventures/Diana RWS 34 Spring Upgrade.html While gun is apart polish the inside of the compression tube with fine sandpaper/for metal .I take a hardwood dowel cut a slot in the end an inch deep fold the sand paper over double slide it into the slot and inset the other end in a cordless drill.Smooth the entire tube internally.Take a small jeweller's file and now smooth out the cocking arm slot to remove the sharp edge on the inside.{careful wear gloves you can get a nasty cut} look over the piston seal for nicks or damage.Apex seals and 34 mainspring/kits are available from Airgun Headquarters{ James Macarri}.............hope this helps I'm no expert but have done a few springers............Harold......best to have/make a spring compressor
