Looking to buy some decent qaulity Rx (very mild) shooting glasses for trap.

There doesn't seem to be much info/pictures/reviews out there in the interweb.

Anyone here have Decots? Post 4 Optics? Randolf Rangers? How much did you pay?

I would appreciate any advice you may have to offer. Especially concerning all of the add-ons that are available. (polarized, special coatings, different lens material etc etc). Are they worth the extra cost?

Thanks!

I'm using Oakley radars for shooting, frame and lense cost around 700 to get done if its good enough for the military to issue m frames its tough enough to handle regular situations

I ordered WileyX Air Rage frames from OpticsPlanet (they were a sponsor here.. didn't see their link recently) and am getting a local optician to do the lenses for it. I'm hoping that works.

Randolph Ranger XL
$300 from sportsvisions.com in the US
Comes with 2 sets of prescription lens
Best investment i've ever made in trap shooting

I bought Post Four Optics. Did it through an Optometrist. Paid around $350 for prescription and two lens sets.

Update!

Well, after researching the internet and calling a few local (Ontario) shooting glasses distributors, I decided to purchase a pair of Decot Hy-Wyd shooting glasses direct from the company in Arizona.

Looks like $360.00 delivered, with two sets of Rx lenses.

After many, many questions from the customer service rep, it was determined that a light rose, and medium bronze tinted lens would suit my eyes and my shooting situations here in Ontario the best.

Here's hoping the rep is right!

They should arrive in 2-3 weeks. If anyone is interested, I will post a review after I have had a chance to try them out.

Thanks to all for their input!

Cheers,

James
