Just picked up a Mod.1-1/2 Smith & Wesson from a fellow gun nut. I'm fortunate enough to have some ammo for it and may have a line on another box. Overall, it's in excellent shape for its age with perfect cylinder advance and lock-up. Most of the bluing is still intact and no dents, dings, or rust damage at all on the exterior. There was some slight rust inside the cylinder housing, the chambers and the barrel but I've seen to that. The only thing keeping this from being a 9-1/2 out of 10 is some black powder pitting inside the chambers and bore. It's not too severe and the rifling itself is still strong. There is some very minor slop at the barrel hinge, but that's to be expected with any revolver of this design and age. As I said, given what it is, it's in excellent condition. So! Enjoy the pics.
