S/B sizer die

What is the diffrence between a small base sizer die and a full length sizer die? I will be loading for a Browning BAR 30-06 just want to know if I should get the S/B die or will my F/L do the trick.

Go SB for semi's.

They size all of the way to the web and possibly a little smaller.

A regular full length die has been fine for my M-1 and M-14 for eons.
Think 165 grain bullets and IMR4064.

I have never needed a small base dies for any semi's I reloaded for either, I can't believe I agree with Sunray. You should be able to pick up a set of dies of the EE here for a decent price.

I have a good set of RCBS F/L dies, I was just told that I needed a S/B die for the old mans Browning BAR. I will just use the F/L dies and the factory crimp die that I ordered.

Reload some ammo with your F/L dies and try it in the BAR, why buy new dies if you don't really need them. That said, if you are going hunting with reloads you should check and make sure that all the ammo you are taking will properly chamber in your rifle no matter if it is a bolt, lever, pump or semi rifle.
