However, I can't see any reason why it couldn't be legally imported into Canada, other than the mag needing to be restricted to 5 round capacity.
The only way Americans could have that gun is for it to be imported with a 16-inch barrel and then cut down to SBR length and registered as an NFA weapon. And even then I'm not sure, because it uses an LCMM.

We have requested an "official" classification and the decision is pending. CFC has indicated they believe it is a "Restricted" firearm but RCMP have not yet completed their analysis.
We should have final determination in the next month or so.
