S&J DSC Installation and Impressions

Hi,

I just put the S&J DSC onto my Mossberg. It's a 4-shot OD green model. I just used some alcohol, wiped the receiver, and put it on and used a pen to roll the edges and ensure there were no bubbles in the adhesive. How long should I let it set? I like that with the 4 shot I didn't have to trim the velcro for the trigger assembly pin or serial number. Sits nicely in between the field fore-end and serial number. The webbing is super tight! Took some energy to put some shells into it, but they come out nice and smooth. I tried to shake them out but they seem held in snugly. I also got the new generation with the pull tab which is a nice feature. The nylon fabric is strong and stiff. Hopefully it was last out in the marsh and bush.

Going to be using it for ducks/geese tomorrow morning!

I have the same carrier. I have used it in the field. Its good kit.

Yes in time it will stretch a bit, but still not enought to make it drop shell.
We are using the best made mil spec elastic on the market.
We look at this product that it is was used weekly it would last from 5-10 years working 100% and longer if used. As as sporting product.
Don't ask me the math on that but my partner the crazy engineer worked it out.
Somthing to do with aspect ratios and the themo dynamic propertys of elastic at -10 to +60 blah, blah blah.
