Hello , I just put a S&J linear comp on my Tc Sol barrel and it keeps backing off when I shoot. I've heard of crush washers/lock nuts? Not quite understanding how these would work if they go on first , then the comp. Would blue lock tite work? I want to be able to change it at some point. Thanks Brian

An aluminum tacsol barrel? A crush washer will probably f**k it up. They require a lot of torque to properly crush. It will mar the barrel shoulder and if the threads are aluminum they may strip. Loctite may melt from the heat. Your best option is a shim kit like the one PWS sells. Questar has them. The shim kits don't have to be replaced every time you take the muzzle device off for cleaning.

Yes ,it's aluminum, I'll check out the shims, ... Thanks.

Rather than loctite just use some Rocksett, its a high temp thread locking compound. Rated to 2000 degrees. Perfect for muzzle devices.
I'm going to be testing a new mag today, so I went with the blue lock tite. ( cause I have it on hand).:) See what that says after 6 or 7 hundred rnds.would this rock setted brake be Easley removed?

It is not much harder to "break" than blue loctite, big difference is really the high-temp rating. I've used in on flash hiders, brakes and gas blocks...awesome stuff.
