S&J"No Jam" Followers

So what's the difference between the 2 types of "No Jam" Follwers that S&J sells for the 870? They look slightly different, but other than that, what are the advantages/disadvantages between the 2 styles, if any?

They are both easy to see (know your empty)
Base of shotgun shell is flat, so is factory follower.
The indent/protrusion makes it easier to identify empty when checking the tube.

Thanks for the reply. I figured they did the same job of course, but didn't know if one one was preferred over the other.

I've used both - I prefer the flatter non-indented one.

Although if you're feeling in the dark, the indented one is probably easier to feel that it's empty - especially with gloves on!

I just got the type 2. Made a big difference in my Grizzly, looks good and works better.
Dont know if on is better than the other i liked the look of the type 2.
