Just came in the mail today... Suprised and happy. This thing is super light, simple and easy to work on. I'll let you know how it goes out in the field.
Thanks Simmon!
Anyone know how to install the S&J high vis follower on this thing?

Let us know how she runs. S&J are good guys to deal with, and I'm always happy to see retailers bringing in cool new toys.

Looking forward to more parts for it! The stock and pistol grip here light weight and very grippy.
If this thing is reliable with Slugs, Buck and Target it will be a best-seller in Canada :D I'll get you a range report once I've got a good amount of rounds down range.

brentRnelson;
Good evening to you sir, I trust this finds you surviving the week in acceptable fashion.

Thanks for the review, I appreciate getting another opinion on these shotguns. One of the reasons it interests me is that I've just today received an AS-40 in the mail, but won't likely make any noise with it until a week or two from now.

If you, badboybeeson or anyone else would care to comment on this I'd be grateful, as mine came with the excellent S&J Hardware follower and I'd like to install it.

Does the magazine tube simply screw into the receiver?

Mine appears to be fairly snug so I'm guessing some thread locker might have been used?

Anyway any tips on the Hi-Viz, no bind follower that anyone wants to share would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance and I'll try to get some photos and a range report back when I get mine shooting too.

Simon- curious alas to your personal preference after having one a while. Would you stick with an 870 with 14" tube, or replace yor 870 with these guns?

Yes I know they are at different price points once the Remington is all dolled up.

Yes the mag tubes just screw in the receiver, but it is very tight from the factory. The follower is the thinest, and cheapest l have seen. I would replace that first!

I've got the AS-41 and I had issues with the cheap Winchester low base shells getting stuck in the chamber.Gonna have to try it with better ammo.

I think there should be a sticky/advisory about Winchester White Box. That crap can gum up in some really good guns.
