Does anyone have an idea what the $ value would be for a S&W 29-3 8 3/8 inch barrel old school blued finish with laser sights ? In excellent condition. Also has a nice finish wooden grips ? Thanks for your insight.

I would expect a M-29 to go for about $600.00, unless there was something special about it. As for the laser sight and mounting apparatus I have no clue, but if they drilled holes in the gun to mount it that would reduce the gun's value for me.

officer487, this is my 8 3/8" M29-3 and i am here to tell you this puppy kicks. If you are going to shoot a lot of full loads my advice is look at the Ruger Super BlackHawk as it handles recoil much better. I gave $300 (US) for my M29-3 but I prefer the M29-2 as it is more refined. Whatever you do, enjoy your new toy. Regards, Richard
