S&W 559 has a 4'' barrel are there longer barrels made that would make this a restricted and not a prob
 
Is that a misprint? Do you mean a 459, or 659? Never heard of the 559.

Anyway, if anyone has or can make the barrel you want, it will be Barsto.

Probably. It could also be a 459/649, or 5906/5904.

Or one of a dozen product codes in the S&W line.

Is it a double stacked traditional decocking safety 9mm?
 
A while ago,a member had his S&W39-2 9MM 4" Bbl fitted with a 5"Bbl .
I see he now has it for sale here (with both Bbls) and says it is still Prohib.Status...
I'd check with the Feds on this before buying any new Bbls..

Could be because he might not have had the registration changed over and that he's still selling it with both barrels. The original barrel would probably have to be turned in for disposal/destruction if changing it over to Restricted only...

once the barrel is change and the CFC registration the changed it then become a restricted class with the longer barrel who and where sell a longer barrel for it
