S&W 617-Who has them?

I was just considering one... Epps has them in-stock.
I went with a Charter Arms instead; definitely not as nice, but lighter and cheaper.

Cheers~

S&w 617

I bought a 617 (10 shot) from Ellwood Epps and had great customer service. I have modified my revolver somewhat (wider trigger, wood grips) and have mounted a 2-6X scope on it to assist my tired eyes.

This revolver is a keeper.

I have a 617 no dash, six shot, full underlug, Patridge sight, with Goncalo Alves targets. Looks and feels identical to my 686 but shoots a lot softer. Amazing gun, I am indebted to the man who begrudgingly sold it to me and it will never leave my collection!

And yes, it definitely gets the most range time simply because of how inexpensive it is to shoot. I do submit though that with a gun this accurate it eventually gets boring putting bullets through the same holes!

you will love it. Mine is a 4" and 6 shot. very accurate little gem. It doesn't like non plated bullets (at least mine doesn't) but other then that mucho fun and excellent practice gun

Well here it is! It seems great. Fit and finish are very nice in my opinion. It's heavy, but that means there's absolutely no recoil to speak of. I've only tried cheap federal 550 bulk pack ammo in it and it's gone bang every time.
