I did a search and found a couple of posts from a year ago about this.
Just wanted to throw it out there that I would like to see a 625 with a 107mm barrel for IDPA/ISPC use available in Canada. I know where one would go...
I have one of the 686's and he could use a big brother!

As much as I would LOVE a stainless 625, I'm not sure how much actual demand there would be. There's enough Brazilians kicking around for $600 to mess with the idea of buying new for 2-3 times the price.
Of course, this is just my opinion. I have a Brazilian and the ravenous need is somewhat sated.

But I'll tell you this for nothing, moon-clips rock!

Here's a teaser for ya.

What do you mean by "Brazilian"?

Are you talking about Taurus?

I've never seen a .45-ACP revolver made by them.

Canucklehead,

She shoots as good as she looks. It's got a real slick action, overtravel stop and is just real easy to shoot. Love the wheelguns in the winter cause I hate picking brass out of the snow.

A 625 PC would be great.

Same here, hate picking up brass in any condition. The 357 and 44 is so nice.

600 bones is too much for Brazilian contract guns, especially when you cold be into a PC gun for a bit more - even at 2x the price it's way more gun...

Canucklehead,

That's funny I posted before I even realized it was you that sold it to me. Well thanks again it's worked out great. Haven't put a ton of rounds through it but like I said I find it a real easy gun to shoot, there's definitely something about that nice trigger pull. I've got a 627 8 shot as well and I love having 8 rounds but this 625 is just so easy to reload, not to mention a pretty sweet looking gun. I guess if I could change anything I would prefer that it was blued.

Suspect any update is S&W continues to have zero interest in making a CDN 625 with 45ACP revolver being a very small market.

Time to hunt down and import a 625PC from the States.
