Is it possible to use moon clips with the Smith and Wesson 629 Classic 44 magnum?

It is rimmed, not rimless. Moonclip fits in the rimless extraction grooves.

The clip would change the case headspace, so i am pretty sure it would not work.

I was looking for an alterntive to speed loaders... only advantage to moon clips is when you eject your spent cases they all stay together...

The cylinder of the gun would have to be specially modified?

its a lot faster than a speedloader, as you just toss it in and close the cylinder. Kind of pricey though.

for the same reason pepole moonclip 357 so they can reload faster

Yes you can use moonclips with some milling to the cylinder.

Buy a spare cylinder and get it worked on, probably about $250 for the change.

Any ideas where to get a spare cylinder since they won't even export speed loaders to me now
