I kinda feel the same way but these old eyes just aren't what they used to be. If it doesn't work out the way I'm hoping it will, then I may try some fiber optic sights or something else.Nooooooooooo.......not on a revolver!

I'm probably going to trim the top of mount the the exact size of the Burris' base and then polish it. With a hour or 2 worth of work, it'll look really nice.Need to polish up the mount to match the gun looks good.
So I just got back from the range. Sighted the Burris in within 20 rounds and shot another 30 double action at 25 yds. This is a tack driver now! I'll try and post pics of the targets. It takes some getting use to to initially sight the dot in the aperture as you bring up the gun but the more I do it, the better I get at it. There's no going back now This is staying on!!
On a rest but not clamped.Did you sight it in freehand or locked in a vice?
