It 's sitting on the Allchin STS mount. I'm toying with the idea of trimming down the edges of the mount to the exact size of the FF

Don't listen to anybody Johnny as to what looks good or doesn't look good. What ever it takes so you can see well to shoot is the right thing for you to do. I have a buddy with old eyes and he has 5 or 6 S&W revolvers with the fastfires on them. He does real well them.

So I just got back from the range. Sighted the Burris in within 20 rounds and shot another 30 double action at 25 yds. This is a tack driver now! I'll try and post pics of the targets. It takes some getting use to to initially sight the dot in the aperture as you bring up the gun but the more I do it, the better I get at it. There's no going back now This is staying on!!

Did you sight it in freehand or locked in a vice?
