S&W 686 4.2 holster?

I have been looking at picking one of these up and have been looking for holsters. I have owned and used leather Safariland in the past, I have never been crazy about kydex. Most manufacturers make 4 or 6 inch due to the American market. So has anyone out there tried a 4 or 6 inch holster? Ideas?

There are many, many, excellent choices in gunleather.

The biggest problem you will face is deciding which one, and then waiting for it to produced just for you.

I suggest you look at:

Kramer; Mernickle; Ken Null; Mitch Rosen; C. Rusty Sherrick; Milt Sparks; TT, and; UBG.

Look at all of these websites. Pay particular attention to their delivery estimates.

The waiting is the hardest part.

I found an old RCMP thumb break holster worked. It was the type with the embossed weave in black leather. Got it for $35 at a surplus store.
Fits tight, but draws well.
