S&W 686 question

This may be a real dumb question, but does the S&W 686 .357 shoot .38 Specials...I ask because the Mfg. website says it is for .357 and .38 S&W Special, which according to wikapedia is a different size than the regular .38 Spl

38 S&W Special is the same cartridge as 38 Special. 38 S&W is a different (though similar) cartridge that should not be fired in your 686. Just to try and be clear. - dan

Both .357 Magnum and .38 Special work great in the 686, the .38 Specials I think work better because they're cheaper
