The I-bolt by S&W is plastered all over Petersen's Hunting this month and I must admit intrigues me in the 30-06 offering. I like the look of some of the features it boasts including the tru-set trigger developed with timney, the one piece bases included, the light weight (6 pounds 12 ounces) the Thompson center precision barrel. I am not sure what to make of other buzz wordy features boasted with patents pending such as the EZ-turn bolt release, X-Bed stock design, flush sling mounts and the recoil reduction chamber. If these features are all that is boasted......... Opinions?

Well, I'll wait and see what happens when I get my hands on one. But what I've read has certainly intrigued me, it looks to be very well engineered. - dan
