Any S&W K-32's in Canada ?
Are they prohibited ? or did they get an exemption like some other competition guns ?
I've always liked the .32 S&W round, have a Walther GSP in .32 S&W (which did get the exemption) and find it quite nice to shoot.
Always thought a K-32 would be a nice revolver.

Prohibited in any barrel length due to being chambered in .32 cal ctg. :(

NAA.

Yes, I thought that would probably be the case -- .25 and .32 caliber prohibition is just another nonsense Canadian firearms law.
I suppose the Manurhin MR 32 would also be prohibited ?

Yes prohib indeed....
The K-32 is indeed a rare bird & if you were lucky to find one, it would cost you dearly.
I also love & shoot my 32's regularly,....they are the true fun guns with little report or recoil.
It is a real loss that lots of shooters here in canada miss out on the enjoyment from these sweet cartridge guns.

I have a Taurus 6-shot revolver in 32 s&w that is a spitting image almost to the k-32 & is a fine shooter. same 6" barrel with fully adjustable sights capable of single or double action fire.
It is the model 76 & were made in both .32 S&W & 32 H&R mag. These guns seem to be few as well, as I have never seen another like it.

Another S&W gun that is more common is the Model 31, but is on the smaller J-frame with fixed sights. It is also alot of fun to shoot, but I find the sights harder to see.

Too bad we couldn't hunt grouse & rabbits with them, as they would make for a fine trail gun...:(

There is a list of exemptions to the .32 cal prohib list, mostly Olympic type pistols in .32 S&W long, ie Walther GSPs and the like.
Certain handguns for use in international sporting competitions are excluded from the prohibition affecting the short-barreled and 25 or 32 calibre handguns. These handguns therefore are considered restricted firearms under the Criminal Code. These handguns are the:

The Manhurin MR32 Match is exempted from prohibition and one of only 2 exempted prohib revolvers. The Manhurin is the only one of the two in production.

The whole list is here although I believe it needs to be updated for some of the Pardini .32ACP conversions that were brought in a couple years back

The Pardini .32 ACP is prohib in Canada. I tried to get one from the Canadian distributor for bullseye shooting and he told me they couldn't get a license to import them.
