S&W M&P 9mm....UPDATE-ARRIVED ...With PICS!!!!

My buddy bought two new M&P(9mm) and both had slight malfunctions out of the box. The slide release on one did not work at all, and had to be tweaked by a gunsmith. The second one failed several times on last shot;slide did not stay open.

Accuracy is good on both though, and they are pretty nice to shoot. The customizable grip size is nice, but the gun is kind of "poppy" compared to my well used and forever reliable Sig P226. I would consider an M&P as a second 9mm. JMHO

Got to fondle the M&P today .. sealed the deal. Just have to get it to transfer!!

I hope the problems Pudcan saw aren't common.

M&P Holster

I use a Blade-Tech DOH for IPSC

and Blade-Tech TekLoc for IDPA
w w w.blade-tech.com/Belt-Holster-w-TEK-LOK-pr-910.htmlwith my MP9.

They both work well!

TSE (link at top of page) just got new stock this past week.

What is an easy to get holster for this.....Bladetech, fobus, etc....?
Fobus is garbage but you might get lucky with it. Blade-tech makes a cheap holster they call Revolution, and their higher quality stuff is available as well. I prefer Comp-Tac for everything and have several of their holsters, both IWB and OWB.

Just traded in my Ruger P91 on an M&P 40 last week.

$489.00 US new less trade at local gun shop. Comes with 2 15rd mags.

Put 300rds through with no problems so far. Very well satisfied as well.

Glad to hear these are legal in Canada.
