S&w M&P 9mm

The current hot set up for pistol sights is a tritium/fibre optic front sight and a plain rear - the idea being that the bright front sight draws your eye and the rear sight being plain, doesn't compete for your attention.

Im in the lookout for a handgun and im stuck between the M&P and a cz. love shooting both so much! but my eyes are wandering to the M&P, range kit is too good of a deal to pass up

My wife bought an M&P 9. The JG (pink grips...) version. It also comes without a safety, no magazine disconnect, Warren tactical rear sight, fiber optic front sight and 3 mags. Installed the Apex Tactical Duty/Carry Kit with the springs and the sear, the Ultimate Striker Block and the RAM. Eliminated the gritty take up, really smoothed out the entire pull, lightened the pull by 1 lb to just over 5 lb and really improved the reset noticably with the RAM. I could lighten the trigger more by re-installing the stock trigger spring. That would take another 1 lb off. I also bought the Failure Resistant Extractor but haven't installed it yet. I will if we start having problems. Only 500 rounds so far. We have been shooting heavier guns before this. Sig 226, CZ Shadow and Kadet and a Ruger 22/45. This thing is light! We both had trouble grouping tightly until alternating between dry firing with an empty cartridge balanced on the slide and then going back to live rounds. That tightened things up. It appears 'heavy' guns mask poor trigger control. Firm grip required as well.
