Okay, so I finally got it today. I got an email yesterday to say that Canpar was unable to locate my house. I spent an hour on the phone with them and was told they'd try again later that afternoon. Never happened. Then I got an email this morning saying that I wasn't home. I was totally home. I spent another half hour on the phone and was told it would come later that day. Then I got an email saying I could pick it up at a convenience store on the other side of town. Canpar has overtaken Amazon as my least favourite delivery service.
On the other hand, I'm really happy with my purchase. It fits my hand well, I don't mind the hinged trigger, and the positive retention of the Caldwell holster is really nice. It is indeed the m2.0, so I think that for the money I did the right thing.
Now I have to get jimbo14 to train me to shoot it right, after I carry him around a swamp on my back and lift some spaceships with my mind.

Here's a 10 round 5m grouping I did with a Canik, G19X and a M&P 2.0. All good well maintained modern guns shoot better than we can, like edgy said.

These guns I shot were not mine. I was testing for a friend. But I do own a Gen.1 M&P with an Apex trigger as well as the G19, not 19X. I'm a Glock fan so I'm partial to Glocks but there is nothing wrong with the M&P. If you have really big hands, the 19 grip may be short for you. The 19X fills your hand very well.
