I would like to hear from anyone that has or has used the S&W MICULEK COMPETITION GRIPS, I have a S&W 625 and I was thinking of getting these grips but before I spend the $ I would like to hear if there is any problems or not with these grips.

They are fantastic grips if you are trying to speed load and shoot fast. You can manipulate your hand easily.

Thanks for the posts. As for asking about problems I was wondering if any thing was wrong with them, bad fit, finish or getting pinched when firing the gun stuff like that.

They are made as go fast competition grips. They make it very easy to take a high grip on the gun. They are utilitarian and are not particularly nice to look at etc. They are also rather straight as in halfway between an auto grip and a curved revolver grip.

The guy who designed these grips has the handstrength of a gorilla and mere mortals (meaning me :) ) can have issues hanging onto them shooting at a high rate of fire or shooting magnum rounds. For that reason I apply grip tape to mine.

I have them on both the 686's I have set up for IPSC and IDPA and I really like them.

The look is deceiving. They are actually very comfortable and really encourage the grip advocated by J.M. himself. These are the racing slicks of the gun world. I had several different sets of high end grips for my 627 and stuck with the JM's. They really can make you a better shooter.

I've got Miculek grips on a S&W M29 4" and I like them, a lot. With the exposed backstrap and narrow, smooth trigger, DA is very good, even with my small hands.

Two negatives: the hole in the front of the grip for access to the strain screw and the 3/4" projection of the grip below the bottom of the frame.

Thanks for letting me know where I can get them, I have purchased from Brownells before and had good luck so I will likely go that route again when I order them.

You can get them from Brownells or Dillon.

I would suggest Brownells is the better choice as Dillon's shipping charges are a wee bit pricey :)
