Hi,
Today was the second time i took my model 10 to the range and the barrel is now getting loose.
I noticed after the first time i took it to the range and i shot 100 rounds that the barrel was able to turn clockwise and counter clockwise just a tiny bit, nothing too alarming i tought but i did not know if it was like that before i shot it or not. I believe that the barrel is held in place in the frame by a pin but i am not sure that it's the only thing holding it together.
Now today i took it to the range again to see if it would still shoot ok and if the barrel would get worse. Yes it did get worse. Now the barrel wiggles left and right and up and down. Needless to say that i stopped shooting it and i will take it to a gunsmith to be checked.
My main question is, does anybody know of a good gunsmith in the montreal/south shore area who is good with s&w revolvers.
Secondly as anybody seen a problem like this before?
