S&W model 24, .44 Special

Any suggestions where I might get a cylinder? They're available sometimes in the USA, but of course they're gun parts. Not interested in a .44 Mag; got one of those. Thanks.

Phone S&W to see, lots of times they still have old new stock, and see if MD Charleton can bring it across , then fit it for you?
Otherwise maybe MD Charleston has one hanging around, as they are S&W armourers?
The people at S&W last time I called for an old part were real helpful ,great gun you have, I shoot mine regularly with cast target poppers, no recoil and accurate

Another option is to chk the measurements on N frame 38 Special or 357 mag cylinders. If they are close you get them reamed and machined to fit. - dan

Thanks - last resort concept, I'd say, but sometimes it comes to that and I hadn't even considered such. I will indeed check.
