S&W Model 3 Russian Grips

Just wondering if anyone out there can help direct me.

I just bought a Uberti Russian model schofield (My Paul Martin handgun) and I would like to replace the wood grips with the white ivory style ones. Just searching on the model for grips, I could not find any. Tons of grips for the regular model Schofields, but nothing for the Russian.

In comparing grips though, the Russian looks like it uses a J-frame grip. Will these work or are they different size (albeit same shape)? Or does anyone know where I could get grips for it?

They are very close. ICRC but will confirm whether they can be fitted (on an original gun).

You're SOL.

My friend says that M&P c.1899-1905 are very close in appearance, but won't fit. They often show up on E-bay mislabeled as New Model 3.

Jframe are hopelessly small.

Schofield may be fittable, "...but I wouldn't want to bet the bank on it..."

He also isn't sure how close the Uberti's are to original guns.
