S&W Model 327 M&P R8 or TRR8

Great trigger, accurate, light, points well. The 8 rounds are either a vanity thing or really helpful (if you need a couple of extra rounds to push a bowling pin off of a table or break a clay).

The top rail is ideal for optics. The bottom rail... is a lot of fun for gizmos, I just can't think of anything practical to do with it.

You'll either love the look or hate it. I love it.

Moonclips are good for ensuring full extraction, but don't really help you in reloading the cylinder, because .357s are too long and wobbly to just drop in like moonclipped .45's.

Target Sports...banner at the top of the page...has one sitting in their case.I believe the price is around $1300.
The gun has a lighter than normal hammer spring...it may not work reliably with all types of ammo/primers.

I just looked at their website and while it is a sweet gun the only one they have on the website is the 327 revolver. Although they seem to be the same. I have a M&P and I would love to get the M&P model.l
