Hey all, I'm relatively new to CGN and owning a firearm in general. I have just purchased my first, as the thread title suggests; a Smith & Wesson MP15-22 MOE edition.
My question to all of you is: what are some choices for optics. I shoot from 5-100 yards. I am 100% firm on getting a 1x red dot with a seperate magnifier on a swing arm mount.
Right now my top choice is a Vortex Sparc with a Vortex VMX3 Magnifier...I'm very interested to hear what other options shooters like. My price point for the package is around $500 CDN, but I'm willing to go up a bit if the price is right and my wife will be thrilled if I can save some cash and get a good set up for less than $500.
While I respect everyone has different ideas of what is right, I am firm on a red dot and separate magnifier, so please keep the thread focused on that!!
