Thanks for a quick reply ,AMERICAN EAGLE 223Rem FMJ BT 55 GR CASE OF 1000 is on sale for 459 - seems ok after what you say.ARs can feed most anything. Cheapest is usually anything jacketed 55gr. The 62, 75 gr stuff gets pricier.
I use American Eagle, PMC, Remington (UMC), Winchester White Box and Norinco. They all work fine, especially for 25yds.
Current prices are about $0.50/ rd. Some places have them around $499.99/1000.
Can be as low as $430/1000 on sale but they go fast.
Make sure to lube the AR BCG before you shoot lots.
That is a good price. Buy lots! Ammo will not go bad when stored properly. Dry cool place is good. Thanks for a quick reply ,AMERICAN EAGLE 223Rem FMJ BT 55 GR CASE OF 1000 is on sale for 459 - seems ok after what you say.

You can definitely store them the way you suggested. I usually dump all mine out and into a plastic container with a screw on lid which I bring to the range. The bad thing with that is I never remember how many rounds I actually go through/ session.
