I was wondering what would be your choice and why.
I can't decide between the two. I'll be using it mostly at the range and i'll be hunting in the state's.

ammo will be much easier to source for the 460.

The 460 can use 454 or 45 Colt cartridges apparently.

Just got one in for a customer, he apparently did a bunch of research and went with the 460, this thing is awesome, definitely a coffee table gun.

The 460 has the accuracy and power to easily make 200 yard shots on big game if the shooter does his part, the 500 is a heavier hitter for shorter range work due to trajectory. 454 and 44 mag are not even close when compared to the 460's performance capabilities.

I shoot 454 Casull and would be very interested in hearing a range report once you get it.

I'll let you guy's know when I get it. It should be at my place in two weeks.
The only problem is that I can't get ( 460xvr ammo) I was told that it is not certified in canada. I'll have to go to the states and get some.
